Noclip Agora is a site-specific extraction of material from DRM’s recent PhD performance-exhibition PILOT (presented at Temperance Hall in 2023) and their ongoing video-choreography project TELLDRILL (2022-2024).

Central to the exhibition is DRM’s repeated performance action of the ‘sniffer dog’, and a focus on systemised modes of perspective which they position as ‘digital visuality’. Noclip Agora iterates these propositions, which find queer-erotic dynamics within logics of surveillance, into a static exhibition context in close parallel to the exterior street (or the public ‘agora’). A live excerpt of the choreography of PILOT, performed at the exhibition’s opening night, re-performed the ‘sniffer dog’ and created a situation of leakage and siphoning across the threshold of the gallery and public space, and of action and imaging.

The exhibition and performance are scored by a semi-generative composition made from audio documentation of the ‘sniffer dog’ in rehearsal, and by ASCII code artworks generated from rehearsal/documentary footage.
